Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

Beneficiary on CD

My uncle setup a CD with me as the ITF. He passed away recently and I called the bank to confirm what information they needed and they informed me that I was not listed as the beneficiary and would not divulge any information related to the changes that were made to the CD. I have old account statements and a signed letter that he wrote me when he setup the CD. What recourse do I have?

Re: Beneficiary on CD

If you are no longer the beneficiary, you don't have much recourse.

Re: Beneficiary on CD

sounds like he changed the beneficiary without telling you. He had every right to do so, if he wanted to.
