Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

My brother has been appointed legal guardian of my father's estate. I am designated to inherit the house in an addendum to the Will (it's the only thing I will inherit). Will my brother's guardian status complicate my inheritance?

First, we assume your brother has been appointed "executor" or "personal representative" of the estate. Guardians are appointed to be responsible for incapacitated persons. The responsibility of the executor or PR is to carry out the expressed terms of the will or trust. His status should not complicate the bequest from your father. If it does cause issues, you are an interested person and may assert your requests or demands.
