Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

My brother passed away recently, without a will.

The lady he was living with claims he'd signed the title to his car to her.

He never mentioned this, they were not married or otherwise.

Is there a way we could contact the DMV and look at the signature on the title? Do they keep copies of the old titles?
