Burial

If an adult dies without very specific instructions, who has the right to decide on burial matters? Would it be the mother of the adult or the adult's children over the age of majority?

If there is a surviving spouse, he/she has the right to make the decision. If there is no surviving spouse then the children of the decedent who are 18 years of age or older have the right to make the decision.
