If a cd beneficary was changed after a will was written, is there a legal right to contest this? How does one find ownership on banks cd because of patriot act or confidentiality?

No. A will is not complusory and controlling over a Pay On Death Account like a CD. Financial Insitutions are not allowed to share informaiton about a person's financial accounts, including a CD with oneone but the account holder and the POD beneficiaries, unless the records are subpeoned through a court.
