Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

Change of signers on savings account

Joe (my mother's finace) was put on as a signer on his sister's savings account, by his sister. His sister's neice and nephew have taken his name off of the account. I am assuming that his sister was aware of this. Since he had to sign to get on the account, they would like to know if it is legal for them to take him off without his knowledge.

Thank you.

Re: Change of signers on savings account

Hello, I know of know way you can take a person's name off of a bank account without their knowledge. However, I have very few facts to go with regard to your matter, so I cannot give you any more thoughts. If you want an opinion you can rely on, you will have to retain an attorney. best wishes, Mark J. Mahoney
