Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida
Clause in my will
I am a British citizen, residing in
Florida, (ARC). I have a stepson
from my marriage to my 2nd
(American) wife and 2 daughters in
the UK, from my 1st marriage.
My present wife and I have a verbal
agreement that upon her death,
(presuming I pre-deceace her), the
remaining esate will be equally
divided between the 3 children from
the 2 marriages.
In my (new) will, can a clause be
entered which ensures that the 1/3
split, between the 3 children, will be
honoured and that my 2 daughters
still receive their share?

Re: Clause in my will
That is not the way to do it, and your verbal agreement is unenforceable.
