Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

Condo left to husband-not children

My mom and stepfather lived in a condo in Florida. My mom died last month and after sorting out some financial issues, my stepfather told me he was thinking of selling the condo. I told him that in my mom's will it states that all her property, real and personal, shall be divided between my brother and me. Upon reading the deed to their condo, it does not mention anything about tennants rights of survivorship. It just states that the condo was bought by my mom and stepfather. Is it legally a fact that my brother and me own half of my mom's half of the condo?

Re: Condo left to husband-not children

If they bought the property as husband and wife, it is owned "by the entireties" which is a form of joint ownership for married people only. It gives your stepfather rights of survivorship.
