They co-administer the estate. The beneficiaries share.

The co-personal representatives have the shared responsibility of protecting the assets and administering the estate together during the probate process. They are usually entitled to a "reasonable administrative fee" payable from the estate funds. You should discuss further with a probate attorney in your area if there is not already an attorney for the estate.
