Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida
How do I get a copy of my grandparent's living trust and receive my inheritance?
Both of my grandparents died in 2008. My grandfather was the last to go. From my understanding, my uncle (living in Florida) was put in charge of the trust (conservator?). He has been saying that he has to sell all my grandparents assets (house, car, etc) before anyone gets their inheritance. He has been saying this since December of 2008. My mother asked to see the trust when she attended my grandfather's funeral in Florida and my uncle was reluctant at first, but then gave her a loose leaf binder to view. She said that it was not organized and seemed like things have been re-typed. My Uncle will not give us any info. on who my grandparent's attorney was that put together the trust, and he has not sent my mother (or myself) a copy of the trust since we have requested it in December, 2008.
1. How can I make him deliver to us a copy of the living trust.
2. Is there a legal time frame that my uncle has to liquidize the assets?
3. Is there another way that I can find out what attorney put together the trust with my grandparents?
I thank you ahead of time for your advice and time.

Retain counsel in Florida to pursue this for you.

I agree you need to hire an attorney, in the meantime, you could send a polite letter requesting a copy of the trust and the attorney's name from your uncle, by cerified mail. If he continues to ignore you, your only recourse may be to sue him.
