Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

Crummy Notice

What is a Crummy Notice? I have a trust and was advised to send out crummby notices to all my beneficiaries prior to paying my premium for my life insurance. I was told that this is a requirement to give the beneficiaries an opportunity to accept the money themselves or to allow me to pay my life policy. Is this really true? I can't find anything on this on the Web. Maybe I'm not spelling it correctly. I understand it was a Florida senator by that name that initiated this law. Thanks.
