Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

Hi, My mother passed away on Nov. 5, 2002. She had no assets and there is no estate. She was a single woman. What is the law in Florida for handling her outstanding medical bills? What do I need to send to the doctors, hospitals, etc. in order to settle these outstanding bills?

Please advise.

Send them a copy of the death certificate with a letter explaining that she left no estate to pay any debts.
