How to distribute land left to more than one person

My mother just passed away leaving property to my brother and myself. She also made both co-representatives. My brother does not want to coopreate with me and I need to get a loan to administer the property. What are my options? Can I apply for a loan with both of us having co-ownership. Or must both of us apply for loans together?

I am not sure what you are trying to get done. The property was left to two people. They may take ownership togeather; they may sell the property and split the funds; or, one may buy out the other person. I think you should speak with an attorney and discuss all the aaspects of this matter.
