Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida
I want to be sure he distributes everything according to the will. He has been staying in our mothers house and has not made me feel welcome or offered to show me the will. He discusses nothing about the estate with me, and i feel uncomfortale asking. I want to make sure he doesnt start disposing of any property without anyone knowing before the will is filed. He is already donating her cookbooks because of a verbal discussion before her death.

You need an attorney and you need to explain your facts and who the parties are better than you did above. Assets of the decedent's Estate should not be disposed of at all. They need to be accounted for and included in the Estate. Who are the beneficiaries? They would be entitled to the assets. no way to avoid asking or this information, so hire an attorney and let the attorney make the inquiry for you.
Run....................to the nearest attorney. No matter how uncomfortable this is - it will be a lot more is her possessions are taken away from those who are truly entitled to them.
