Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

I received a letter from a PI telling me that there is money in trust for me from my Father's estate. I have not been in contact with my Father for several years and he passed away in 2000. His Sister had his body shipped to Delaware and buried. If I claimed any money am I responsable for his funeral costs if they try to sue? Should I contact this PI or how do you suggest I persue this?
