Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida
Estate
My sister passed away with a current mortgage in her and deceased husband's name. I am on the deed as 50% owner of the house. I am trying to see what to do about the mortgage so that the payments can be made and to get the house in my name only. I do not know what to do in this matter. Please help in this matter

Re: Estate
If you were on the deed as a koint tenant with right of survivorship, then you already oen the entire property, not just 50%. Check your deed. I suspect that it will say there is a right of survivorship.
