We have 2 mobile home properties that we want to protect from probate. We have 4 children that will share equally in all our assets. How can we do this?

Re: Estates
While there are several ways to do this and you may want to place these properties in trust for your children, I am not sure you should do estate planning on an asset by asset basis. Rather, it may be in your family's best interests to have an estate planning attorney look over all your assets and give you a total plan. Even as to your specific question on avoiding probate and dividing two mobile home properties among four children I think more information is needed. Depending if you own two mobile homes or two mobile home parks, my advice may be different. You may also want to consider the specific needs and capacity of your four children before making a final decision.
