Executor of estate

Father living in Kansas, daughter living in Florida is excutor of estate. Upon Father's death which state laws apply in processing estate matters?

The estate must be filed in the state in which the decedent was domiciled (lived). The laws of that state would apply. In this case, it appears that it would be Kansas.
