Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

Executor holding properties

My mother passed away and there are two properties (Homes) and my brother who is the executor is waiting a year an a half to put one of the properties up for sale. Can my siblings and I request to be bought out of the property and if so how do I procees. The executor will most likely be renting the house as with cash transactions as he has done in the past without my parents knowledge because the property is up north and I am in the south with both my parents that have passed.

Re: Executor holding properties

As a beneficiary you have a right to make make the estate as earn money now and force the sale of the property. I believe you and siblings can force the sale of the house. In order to give you more detailed information i would need to talk with you or you could e-mail you contact information to me.
