Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

My father whom I have had no contact with since I was 6 (40+ years ago) passed away. I don't want anything to do with that situation. Is there anything I need to do legally to prevent me being liable for any expenses, creditors or burial? My sister called and told me he was currently not married and was living with someone in the state of Florida
