Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida
Our father died of brain cancer in 1973. My mother remarried in 1979. Throughout their marriage they sold my home 100,000 .They bought some properties, stocks, stores and more . They invested very well. Then my mother suddenly/strangely died 5/30/1997. My step father told us that when he dies that my sisters and his children would all sit down together when the will was read. He moved back to Georgia where my and him use to reside. Then 30 days after my moth died he ask me to sign over some stock that was in my father name. I did of coarse because he threaten me and also told me there's a lot more money when he dies. Plus I was not in my right mind loosing my last parent so suddenly and mysteriously. He scared my sisters and me and threaten us to keep quite about the abuse he did to us so we did. Then 3 months after my mother died he married the women a couple doors down from mothers house that they paid back then $350,000 cash. Well he has died and his children did not contact me. I want to contest the will and I want to know the value. Would I be able to get any of the money or my mothers thing back?
Can someone please help me? I now live in Florida. My step father lived in Eatonton, Ga
Thank you,
Carolyn

The will contest would be in Georgia and that state law applies. As for the prior acts you cannot likely reverse them at this time. Seek legal counsel
