Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

Father dies and excludes children from any inheiridence

My wifes father passed away this pass week and he has a new wife that has assumed all of his belongings including about 50 million dollars, 15 million dollar homes and about 50 collector vintage cars . My wife wondered if she has any legal claim to anything. No one knows if he has a will and the new wife won't let anyone know ... He is in Florida and we are in Michigan.

Your wife may be entitled to part of the estate even if there is no will. She should contact a probate attorney and discuss her options and rights.

The estate must go to probate where you can find out if he had a will.
