father passed away Dec 21.house in fl in short sale/forcloser does this continue ?my mother is allso still alive and on morgage.

yes the case continues. if he was served already then his presence is before the court. best for the plaintiff to substitute his Estate, if formed. Your mom's interests would be subject to the foreclosure as well assuming she was properly served. Sorry for your loss.
