Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

My father passed and was married he owned his home ans his new wife owned a home also. I was told by my dad I would inherit his home please help

Did he write a will? If not, his estate will pass according to state law.

Even with a will, if you Dad and wife were living in his home, then she will get a life estate in the house, regardless of what the will says.
