Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

My father has passed away and had a small life insurance policy that consists of about $10,000. In order to give him a proper burial, it will take just about all of that policy. My siblings and I care nothing about the money but my aunt was given beneficiary rights and is now taking all of the 'proper' out of the burial and basically just putting my father in the ground with out a service. She states she has bills to pay. These bills have nothing to do with my father. She is an addict and is threating others in the family if they cross her. Do we as the siblings have any rights to object this horrible decision?

I am sorry for your loss. If the insurance policy had your aunt as the beneficiary, you have no right to pull back that money because it passed out of probate by contract law.
