Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida
My father passed away and I understand he had set up a family trust but I do not have a copy. He died in Orange Springs Florida. How can I get a copy?

the trust is not filed. If you know the attorney contact that attorney. Did he have a spouse or neighbors he was very close to. Was he still working - etc.
Difficult question. You need to find out who the attorney was.
Possible ways of finding out: 1) Look at his check book or charge statements to see if an attorney was paid anything; 2) Talk to neighbors, family and friends; 3) Check to see how your father may have purchased his home, if any, and who did the closing. He may have used the same person; 4) Call around to local attorneys that do this type of work.
