Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

My father passed away 25 yr ago without a will. My step-mother recently told me her will is to devide everything equally between her nieces, nephew, all their children & grandchildres, myself & my 2 children. Do I have a right to contest the will & ask for half the estate for myself & children?

Anyone can contest a will, but it doesn't sound like you would have any valid legal basis to win a will contest.
