Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

My father recently died. Alive, my father assigned a percentage of his annuities to my sister and part to me. Now my mother only wants the money to go to me since my sister is doing nothing to assist in the care of my mother or my father when he was ill. With dad gone, can mom change the instructions dad left and leave my sister's percentage of annuities to me?

Highly doubtful. If your father was the sole owner of the annuity the power to modify it ended when he passed away. Recommend that you call the annuity company to inquire further.
