My father recently died an has a living revocable trust. How does a successor trustee get property (auto and home) transferred to their name?

If the property is in the trust already, than the successor just needs to take over or get appointed pursuant to the terms of the trust. if the assets are not in the trust, than a probate of the Estate will likely be needed. Seek legal advice. Sorry for your loss

The trust should explain how the assets get distributed by the trustee. Was title to the assets put in the trust name? If not , the trust is meaningless.
