Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

My father recently passed away. I know he had a will and some life insurance policies. I have asked my stepmother about these and she said the attorney who filed the will is no longer in practice and she says she doesn't have a copy of the will. Where can I find a copy of his will, and how can I get information regarding his life insurance policies. As in so many cases, the stepmother is not answering or cooperating in any way. I don't know where to turn.
