Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

my father is terminally ill and unable to sign checks any more--how can I get on his bank account without power of attorney--I do have a signed affidavit from the Hospice people verifying his condition

Sorry, you must have court approval. I would suspect that he is incapable of making rational decisions and therefore you could ask for an emergency guardianship with a more permanent guardianship for plenary guardian after the emergency hearing.
