Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

Fathers Death

My father remarried over 23 years ago, and recently passed away. His wife has totally ignored his children from his first marriage and has not communicated with us regarding his last will and testament or anything else. Does my mother or his remaining three children have any recourse regarding any past due child support, spousal benefits, pension, etc.

Past due obligations would be a claim against the estate and you should file a claim in probate so that they are paid, assuming that there are any estate assets.
