who becomes legal heir in case of death with no will?my father owned two properties.

The estate must be probated. His family would be in line to inherit (spouse, children).

Much more information is needed. 1. Where did you Father reside before his death? 2. Was your Father married before he died? 3. Other than yourself, how many children did your father have? 4. Under the deed, who owns the property - Father solo or with other people.

The answer to these questions are needed to determine who inherits the properties.
