We are trying finalize my mother's estate. It has been over13 months. It is uncontested. the lawyer is dragging it out.
My mohter's home is now in question. My younger brother needs to okay being bought out and we have had an apprasial done. now he want to detenime the fair asking price, so we need to have another apprasial done. but his lawyer stated:
But it may take a while before I can get a response and an asking price." my brother is not resonsive to any action involving this. neither lawyers are agressively pursuing this.
Is there anything we can do?

The PR should distribute the real estate by filing a deed to the heirs. You then have a remedy of a partition action to compel a sale.
