Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida
I can't find anything in the Florida statutes about enhanced life estate deeds and if they are allowed. Can you point me to the Florida law that references these deeds? Thanks.

If you are referring to a Lady Bird Deed, then it was created by court case and not statute, and they are allowed.
Our laws are common laws, and often courts have created the legal creatures. Actually life estates themselves were created by old English common law.

Lady Bird Deed is the name of the form you are looking for. The beneficiary has not rights in the property and the owner can sell at any time.
