how to find a will in Florida

Wife's father and stepmother, passed away in Florida at different time. Trying to find out if a will was probated and get a copy if so.

You need to check with the Clerk of the Circuit Court for the county where he/she resided at time of death.

I agree with Frank. However, you have a problem if there was no Will, as who becomes entitled to share in the estate, depends upon who survived and died later. If it was your father, intestacy laws protect you as a child and entitle you both administer the estate and share in its proceeds. However, if your step-mother died later, you may get nothing without a Will, as you are not her natural heir. Last point, even if there was a Will and she died later, you may have rights if you were not mentioned in her Will, especially if her Will was made after your father died.
