Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

In Florida, regarding attorney representation whereby you will be billed by 1/10th of an hour increments, exactly what information is required to be provided on the attorney's monthly statements? In other words,is it necessary for a Florida attorney to list the Hourly portion of TIME spent on each narrative entry for a specific date -- or can they solely just have the narrative for the date without the time spent . . . and then a total amount due listed. If there is a requirement that states the billing statement requirements in the Professional Rules of Conduct or other ethical opinions, etc . . . please provide these. Thank you in advance, for your assistance.

The rules about what your billing should contain are controlled by your contract not by the ethics rules. If you have questions on what is being billed, then question the attorney about those charges. i would also ask him not to bill you for the time spent in reviewing the bills with you.
