florida land transfer with estate in a foreign country
How does one tranfer a Florida land title when the estate is in a foreign country? Will a notarized letter from the estate plus a copy of the death certificate suffice?

IF A FOREIGN EXECUTOR HAS BEEN APPOINTED, ANCILLARY FLORIDA PROBATE IS REQUIRED, FOLLOWING KELLY'S INFORMATION. THE FOREIGN EXECUTOR CAN DESIGNATE AND AUTHORIZE SOMEONE TO ACT ON HIS/HER BEHALF, SO ALL REQUIREMENTS OF FLORIDA PROBATE ARE OBSERVED, INCLUDING THE RECORDING OF A NEW DEED TO TRANSFER THE OWNERSHIP.

Only a Florida Court has jurisdiction to rule on title to Florida Property. You will need open a probate action in Florida. If the property is worth less than $75,000.00 you can use a simple procedure called Summary Administration. I suggest you contact a probate attorney.
