Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

In florida I was wondering if there were any laws protecting a minor when investing. Say a bank took control of a minors trust and invested into stocks and mutual funds and ended up losing more than half the money. Is there any laws protecting the minor from this? If the court appointed this bank to be in charge?

The guardianship is in charge of the investments and supervises what happens. Check with the attorney representing the Guardian. What is your interest in the matter? The bank's appointment is not unfettered. It is subject to Court supervision.
