Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida
If the grandchild becomes deceased, the share of principal of the deceased, should be distributed to his or her estate.
In this sentence in a will, what does estate mean? or probably mean?
It follows this outline when grandfather passes: all goes to child, when child passes all goes to equally distributed 5 grandchildren, if one of the grandchildren pass on, it goes to his or her estate.
In this case, what does the grandchilds estate mean? I was told it means his family, but which family, his brothers and sisters or his wife and child?

Not necessarily the family. It goes to the estate -- that means it would be distributed under the grandchild's will. He or she might leave it to his family, but could leave it to the Red Cross if he wanted to.
