Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida
Grandmothers will no witness giving caretaker all
Our Grandmother's will has been tampered to give paid caregiver everything in her house including family portraits and pictures. Our father (her only child) is deceased we were her only immediate family. We were only allowed to see her 10minutes per week when she was alive, due to cpa having POA. When asked why she replied ''because I say so''. There was alot of money involved that appears also to be missing. Our father's farm was to pass down to us and now it is in a trust that we cannot aquire until age 35 but the worry about this is that the property has been split-one small section(ll,000.00value) and the other much larger(500,000.000value). Of couse the cpa address is on the larger and our father's name and grandmother's address on the smaller. There is a separate paper giving all personal effects to a caregiver, with no witness signature and does not look like her signature at all. Do we have any recourse?

Re: Grandmothers will no witness giving caretaker all
Yes, there are options for you. If the will was tampered with you can object to it's addmission to probate. If people in charge of your grandmother's care took financial advantage of her there are steps to deal with that. I think you need to speak with an attorney and discuss all the facts of your situation. You do not say if your grandmother died last week or ten years ago. You have a limited time to bring your concerns before a judge, but I think your first step should be to talk with an attorney.
