Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida
who keeps the home
If the wife bought a home before marriage, raises two children to adult age, but they never leave the property. Then marries but never adds the husband to the deed and then preceeds the husband in death and has no will. Who gets the property in question?

Re: who keeps the home
The husband gets a life estate (he can use the property for the rest of his life - live in it, rent it out, etc.), and at his death it belongs in equal shares to her children who survived her.
