Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

I own a house in Florida. 1/2 is in my dad's name and the other half is in mine.

When he passes on, do I get the entire house, or does 1/2 go back into the estate.

It depends on how the deed reads. It must state "joint tenants with right of survivorship" or very similar language, or his one-hald goes into his probate estate. To correct it, the two of you must sign a new deed (before two witnesses and a notary and record it) to the two of you imncluding that language.
