Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

I am the surviving child of my mother who recently expired in connecticut, there was no will, her house was given to my sister ,now deceased. Who is entitled to the contents of deceased mothers apartment. mother did designate the beneficiaries on her insurance policies. Can anyone remove the contents of the apartment without my permission if iam to recieve the contents? thank you Ed

The answer to this question is governed by Connecticuit law. In general, if you are the sole survivor of your mother's children and she was unmarried, it falls into your lap. Why dont you attend to the business of vacating her apartment and concluding her affairs?
