Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

My husband just died and has no assets that are not joint. Those asset do not amount to more than $20,000.00. Do I have to do anything? Also, he has a few credit cards held only in his own name with a combined total of less than $4,000.00. Do I have to pay them?

In order to obtain those assets/funds you can utilize Summary Probate Administration (assuming you have no objection to paying the outstanding creditors from the assets you receive). It is quick and easy. Please let me know if I can be of assistance to you (941-928-0310).
