Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

My husband just did his will. We own a house together. In his will it says he leaves the home to his son and daughter. He goes on to say he leaves his residuary estate to me. Does this mean if he dies our home goes straight to his children? The house is in Virginia and we are florida residents.

How was the house in Virginia acquired. If this was prior to the marriage, then perhaps so. If you own it together, he dies and your name is still on the deed, then they take as tenants in common.
