Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida
My husbands grandmother passed, we just received a copy of the will and also a letter of waiver and consent. The letter states I, my husbands name a beneficiary of the will of blank, date, hereby give my waiver and consent to the petition for administration, petition to determine homestead real property, the proposed order determining homestead real property, and the proposed letters of administration. So he has to sign this and return to the lawyers office. He wants to know what he is signing, what does this document mean?
