judgement dad died

my dad passed away and left nothing but a 2000 pont. car.when he died he had a judgement against him for 20,000 for the car. He had the car for 5 years and they could not locate it to take it back now he is gone and i do not know what to do with the car.i do not know where he got the car or who to call. do i keep the car and give it to my son or what..Thanks for your help

Without title you will not be able to sell or register it. Check with DMV.
