Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida
If I do a Lady Bird Deed on my condo leaving it to my daughter only. I have a will besides leaving my car to my son and everything else to my daughter. Can my son demand half or any part of the condo?

The deed will convey to the beneficiary which will be your daughter. As to your son, he can make a claim (not saying he will get anything) if he invested money in the unit and can prove that it was not a gift to you or to her. Otherwise, no.

The deed, if executed properly, will supersede the will for purposes of gifting the condo. Therefore, you can gift the condo to your daughter and your son will not be entitled to it.
