Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida
My land lord died.his sister came from out of state to take over the property,but had to leave. now is asking to have rent sent to her in maine.i was told they can't fine a will and there is no true ownership and there is a problem with the other brother about the property.i did give her last months rent.are there any suggestions.

Until the proper legal owner of the property is established (including the properly appointed personal representative of the estate), the safest course of action is to pay your rent into the court registry of the county in which the property is located.
